DirtWise/Maxxis/KLIM Race team rider Jason Thomas continued his great start to the 2015 race season, with a triumphant 1st place finish at Round 2 of the GNCC series, which started last weekend in Georgia.

Aiming for another strong run at the XC2 Championship in 2015, Thomas has impressed all by running up front for the majority of the race before putting the hammer down on the last lap to score victory. “I’m easing my way into the 2015 Championship, and building to a higher level at each race. I know how to win a Championship so I’m right in track at the moment!”

Thomas’ team mate Josh Weisenfels, still recovering from the slight concussion suffered at Round 1 of the GNCC’s, instead elected for some additional training by deciding at the last minute to ride at Round 1 of the BlackJack Enduro series in Oklahoma, where he was still able to come away with the victory. “I wasn’t feeling good during the week so I’m surprised I was able to win this race. I’ll be all ready to go rip it at Round 3 of the GNCCs now!”.

Meanwhile, third team member, Drew Higgins from Texas, was on duty for Round 1 of the Texas Cross Country Championship and scored a strong 2nd place finish. “That was such a fun race, and I’m so happy I’m able to represent my sponsors with the excellent results I’ve achieved so far this year.”
